Christmas Music: from Baroque to Jazz

From 11 to 13 January the Lviv Philharmonic and the Lviv Organ Hall will host the Christmas Music: from Baroque to Jazz project consisting of the We Go To Bethlehem spectacular and the Christmas Eve With Good Jazz concert.



 









 
The Christmas Music project will present the Christmas baroque, romanticism, classicism melodies from Spain, France, Italy, England, Austria, Germany and other European countries & jazz versions of Ukrainian and Polish Christmas carols and Christmas folk songs..


Thursday, 12 January, 7:30 pm.,  the Lviv Philharmonic – the Christmas Eve With Good Jazz concert presented by the ShockolaD band (that concert is usually held on Christmas eve). This year the ShockolaD will be ‘jazzing’ carols  in co with  Dana Vinnytska (Ukraine) & Karolina Beimcik (Poland) within the  Babooshki project and Bria Blessing (USA).

The ShockolaD band members: Anastasia Litvinyuk - piano, Igor Hnydyn - drums; Ivanka Chervinska - vocals, Michailo Balogh - sax, Andriy Kochan - bass guitar

Venue: Lviv Philharmonic (7 Tchaikovsky St., Lviv)

Since 27 tickets will be sold at the Dzyga Gallery (35 Virmenska St., Lviv). Till 3 January, 2012  the EthnoClub of Gatherings , the PhotoClub 5x5 , the Oleh Yas’kiv CinemaClub & the JazzClub.Lviv members -  50% discount tickets.
